How many hours do I need a videographer for on my wedding day?
Every wedding event is unique however eight consecutive hours is generally a sufficient amount of time to capture most wedding days. While both of our pricing options include eight hours with two camera operators we will not charge additional money if a little more time is needed on the day.
Why do you only offer two pricing options and how did you arrive at your pricing?
We decided to simplify the process by only offering a editing option and a non-editing option. We are offering the nonediting package for those clients who might have editing software and/or just want the raw footage delivered on a hard drive. The editing wedding package is more expensive due to the amount of time it takes, but it does have additional value because of the online digital viewing and delivery hosting of your edited wedding video.
How long will it a take to receive my edited wedding video?
Delivery time is about 8-10 weeks. The editing process takes about 40-50 hours over several weeks, however we will make every effort to deliver it sooner if possible.
What format will my wedding video be delivered in?
The editing option will be delivered online which will allow you to take digital possession, send a link to family/friends and to watch your edited wedding video via an Apple TV app. Additional viewing platforms are currently under construction and will hopefully be available in the near future. The edited wedding video will also be delivered on a USB flash drive. The online digital, Apple TV app, and USB flash drive videos will all include identical easy to use menu chapters. We are in the process of phasing out delivery on DVD/Blu-ray discs. Upon request we will provide a DVD/Blu-ray disc at no additional charge, however the delivery date might take longer than 8-10 weeks.
What music will you use for the highlight reel?
Storybook Videography will select royalty free music from a site like ‘Music Bed’ or ‘Artlist’ for your highlight reel. We don’t add music with a copyright because it is illegal. Highlight reels containing copyrighted music that are uploaded to any of the popular social media sites will likely be blocked and/or removed due to a copyright claim.
Do you use Drones?
We are planning to offer drone coverage by the end of 2017 or sooner at no additional charge. The FAA requires drone operators to have a license and there are many safety regulations that need to be followed on the day of the event.
